How to minimize or even cure the symptoms of Fibromyalgia

These simple 6 steps can help you to reverse fluoride symptoms and cure/minimize and/or prevent fibromyalgia, TMJ, Carpal Tunnel, Hypothyroidism, anxiety, depression, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and many other diseases. Fluoride can be found in most food and beverages, however if you avoid the major sources, you will begin to feel much better in your first week. It may take longer for other symptoms to subside, but they will in time - the longer your body is not exposed to fluoride and has a chance to flush it out.

Step #1 Filter Your Water

Purchase a Fluoride Water Filter. The first step in blocking Fluoride is to filter your drinking water. This is imperative for good health and mental function. There are many contaminates in your tap water, even if you live on a well. This includes Aluminum, Ammonium, Arsenic, Bacteria, Borate, Boron, Bromide, Cadmium, Chloride, Chromate, Copper, Cyanide, Fluoride (which is even more toxic with the presence of Aluminum), Iron, Lead, Mercury, Nitrate and even Radioactivity, just to name a few.

While you are waiting for your filter to arrive, you may want to go to Walmart or your local supermarket and buy a few gallons of distilled water.  You can use this for all of your drinking water (make sure it's distilled; water bottles from the store may have fluoride and other toxins in them too), coffee, when cooking, for your pets, etc.  The sooner you remove fluoride from your water the better!

Step #2 Use Fluoride Free Toothpaste

You actually Don't need fluoride for healthy teeth. Eliminating fluoridated toothpaste is one of the most important things you can do.  Fluoride can be absorbed through your mouth and saliva glands, and there is also a chance of swallowing the fluoride.  One tube of fluoridated toothpaste is enough to kill a small child.  Even swallowing a little bit can result in fluoride toxicity.

I have been using Tom's of Maine for years now, and my teeth are white and healthy.  And considering fluoride can inhibit thyroid function, just changing your toothpaste alone could help you lose weight!

Step #3 Check Your Medications

If you are taking any prescription medications, make sure it doesn't contain fluoride.  Research them on the internet, or talk to your doctor and/or pharmacist.  Many SSRIs contain fluoride, such as Citalopram (Celexa, Cipramil, Nitalapram), Escitalopram (Lexapro, Cipralex), Fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem), Fluvoxamine (Luvox, Faverin), Paroxetine (Paxil, Seroxat), and Progabide (Gabren, Halogabide). Other medications that often contain fluoride include some arthritis medicine, steroids/anti-inflammatory agents such as Cyclocort, Diprosone and Flonase, and some antibiotics called Fluoroquinolones (Cipro).

If you find that the medication you are taking does in fact contain fluoride (or you are not sure), talk to your doctor to find an alternative solution.

Step #4 Change Your Diet

Avoid the following foods/beverages which are extremely high in fluoride:
Tea, Wine, Grapes, Raisins, Lettuce, Gelatin (this includes jello, pill caps, jellies, yogurt and can be hidden in many foods; check labels carefully), juice drinks, skin of chicken, cigarette smoke, fast food beverages (especially coffees), canned vegetables, vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, etc, Olives? (I'm not sure about these, but I imagine they are similar to grapes. I can't find any info on their fluoride content but I suspect them), Colored breakfast cereals with lots of food coloring (Blue #4, Red #3, etc - this is aluminum which concentrates fluoride even more), anything you think you may have a reaction to.  Fluoride can be anywhere - suspect everything until proven safe!

Limit the following foods which can be high in fluoride:
Sea food & fish (often high in fluoride, however also contains beneficial iodine), potato, onions, Rice, concentrated (frozen) juice, potato chips, corn chips, bread with Aluminum leavening, chicken nuggets/chicken patties that may have  traces of bone in them, soy

Do drink lots of milk and eat lots of dairy if you can tolerate it.  Calcium and vitamin d have been proven to block fluoride from being absorbed and prevent it's toxic effects.  Dairy is also loaded with Iodine & Tyrosine which is good for your thyroid and tryptophan which can help increase serotonin.  Calcium has also been proven to help with weight loss.  Try to have calcium with every meal.  Avoid milk substitute products such as soy milk and others; they could be made with fluoridated water.

Step #5 Avoid Aluminum

Aluminum is Fluoride's evil best friend.  By itself, Aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer's disease and osteoporosis. Aluminum toxicity can also lead to colic, rickets, gastro-intestinal disturbances, poor calcium metabolism, extreme nervousness, anemia, headache, decreased liver and kidney function, forgetfulness, speech disturbances, and memory loss, softening of the bones, and weak, aching muscles. It can accumulate in the cerebral cortex of the brain, preventing impulses from being carried to or from the brain. It has also been implicated in seizures and reduced mental faculties.

Aluminum has the ability to bind to fluoride, making it more concentrated and more toxic.  It has recently been found that tests used to test the fluoride content of foods and beverages did not detect aluminum fluoride, which means that many products may be much higher in fluoride then originally thought, such as tea.  It also assists fluoride in breaking the blood-brain barrier, depositing both aluminum and fluoride into your brain where it can cause many health issues.

Avoid canned foods, soda and beer, aluminum foil, aluminum cook ware, breads used with aluminum leavening, and all tap water (well or public).  Aluminum is often added to public water supplies to improve clarity, and is not listed on most water quality reports.  Use Aluminum free deodorant.

Step #6 Key Supplements

Unfortunately, there is fluoride in most of the foods we eat and the air we breath.  It is almost impossible to completely block it from our diets.  There are a few key supplements that have been proven to block fluoride, prevent toxicity and even reverse the damage its done to your physical and mental health.  For more information on how to block fluoride, click here.

Other helpful tips:
  1. Keep in mind that heating fluoride concentrates it and releases toxic fumes; be sure not to inhale (coffee, boiled vegetables, rice, etc). To minimize concentrating the fluoride in the coffee beans themselves, drink cold brewed coffee with clean, fluoride free water. Click here for more info. Make sure your shower is well ventilated. Take colder showers to avoid toxic fluoride fumes.
  2. Watch out for organic foods; I have had several issues with them - I've actually had some of my worst reactions to these.
  3. Do not take whole food supplements and vitamins. They could be processed with fluoridated water and high heat, and the food may have contained pesticide residue.
  4. Eat what you crave; even if it ruins your diet for one day. Your body may be craving it for a reason.
